On Sunday, July 13 we made the drive back east to Franschhoek, a beautiful wine-producing village surrounded by mountains and full of wineries, vineyards and great restaurants and shops. We stayed in a charming cottage and enjoyed 4 relaxing days of great scenery, company, food and wine.

Oops, I meant to say we drove back WEST to Franschhoek. It's just an hour northeast of CT.
