Happy Father's Day

First, we would like to honor our Dads, Jim and George for being all that a Father should be and more. Thanks for your love, support and encouragement ... we wouldn't be who we are today without you! Second, we would like to wish all of the Dads and Dads-to-be that we know a very happy Father's Day! May you all have the opportunity to kick your feet up and feel appreciated for a job well done!

Thompson's Bay

We ended our Sunday afternoon with a trip to a beautiful beach on the northern tip of Ballito called Thompson's Bay. It was a great place to relax and enjoy the scenery, and also play in the sand and surf!

Father's Day Lunch

After church on Sunday, we drove to a small resort town about 20 minutes north of Umhlanga called Ballito. We had lunch at a beautiful cafe called The Waterbury set back in a lush tropical forest. Besides a wonderful buffet lunch, they have some great playground equipment and a fantastic nature trail to explore. It was great fun for the whole family!

Sindi

On Sunday morning our maid who works for us on Tuesdays and Thursdays joined us for church. She took a taxi ride from the township where she lives to a shopping mall close by. We picked her up there, had breakfast with her at our house, and then drove to church and worshipped together. It was nice to spend time with Sindi outside of work.

Saturday Braai

We got to try out our new patio furniture and charcoal grill with some friends on Saturday. We invited them over for a braai -- which is the South African term for barbeque. The boys had a great time playing with some new friends.
